Coffee Houses

Friday, November 6, 2009 | |

I want to map out all the places I have explored in San Diego.  Since I have primarily bummed around coffee houses for the past month, I thought it would be a good place to start.

Cosmos Coffee Cafe - La Mesa
I go to this coffee house most often because it is the closest to me and also happens to have the best/cheapest coffee.  There is a bar at the front window I like to sit at and people watch from.  There is also a great mural in the bathroom.

The Living Room Coffeehouse - SDSU
I go here for the atmosphere and the crowd it attracts.  As the name suggests, the place is reminiscent of an antique living room.  The food and coffee are mediocre, the employees are never too kind, but the cute college girls keep me coming.

Filter - North Park
I'm pretty sure the guy who runs this coffee shop is gay as he is super nice and the decor is super cool.  Customers commonly bring their cute dogs here...when I get my Boston terrier you will be sure to find me here.

Lestat's - Normal Heights

I got a laugh from the name of thier wireless network: "Lestat's coffee is better than Starbucks."  The Starbucks is right accross the street.  The place is a bit messy but there is always a place to sit in this large coffee shop, it's open 24/7, and they offer entertainment here every night.
